State Liquor Authority Issues Guidance for Off Premise Sales by Bars, Restaurants & Taverns

The State Liquor Authority has issued guidance for the off premises sale of wine and liquor by bars, restaurants, taverns and other on-premises licensees. It permits on premises licensees to sell for off premises consumption any alcoholic beverages they’re licensed to sell for on premises consumption. It limits those sales to any closed and sealed containers and requires the purchase of food to accompany the purchase of alcohol. The guidance authorizes the sale of alcohol for pick-up or delivery, but requires any delivery to be in a vehicle permitted by the Authority. Here’s a link to the guidance: SLA Guidance
