NYS Expands NYC Indoor Dining to 75% on May 7

Governor Cuomo announced that New York City indoor dining capacity will expand to 75% beginning May 7. That change will bring indoor dining capacity in New York City in line with the capacity limit in the rest of the state.

It’s unclear when the State will allow further expansion. As important as the capacity limits are, the six foot social distancing requirement is a de facto capacity limit so we’ll continue to seek reduction or elimination in that requirement.
