Open New Business

Opening a new business can be overwhelming. You probably gave a lot of thought to the type of operation you want to open, the menu selections, and the design, but if you’re like most people you didn’t spend too much time thinking about the many licenses, permits, and other government imposed hurdles you would have to overcome in order to open your doors.

There are a number of requirements for every business owner, regardless of the type of business you open, and there are some specific to your type of operation. The State of New York has set-up a helpful website that walks you through the requirements for opening your business. You can visit the NYS License Center and follow the steps to see which licenses, permits, and other requirements you’ll need to open your new business.
