Still Awaiting SLA Guidance…

We’re still awaiting publication of guidance from the State Liquor Authority to help explain the details of the 10 pm curfew for restaurants and bars. While not official until the guidance has been issued, we’ve gotten a few questions that we think we know what the answers to:

• Is the 10 pm curfew “last call” or must the premises be clear?  Premises must be clear
• May customers enter the premises after 10 pm to pick up a food order? Yes, but they should not linger. Extended stays will be viewed as a violation.

Guidance from the Liquor Authority will be posted on their website, www.sla.ny.gov, and we will post it on our website too.
