NYS Driver’s License Expiration Waiver Extended to January 1st

Governor Cuomo issued an executive order on December 2 that extends through January 1, 2021, his previous order that New York State driver’s licenses with expiration dates of March 1, 2020 or later shall continue to be treated as valid, including for purposes of verifying the age of purchasers of age-restricted products.
As previously reported, the waiver no longer applies to non-driver identification cards issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
