New York City Indoor Dining On Pause

The Governor announced he’s closing indoor dining in New York City starting Monday, December 14. Takeout and delivery will still be allowed. Outside of New York City, the State is studying the data and will make a determination on Monday about possible closures. Yellow, Orange, and Red cluster zones will continue.

The Governor also publicly called for Congress to include relief for restaurant owners in their Covid relief bill. While the Governor has previously expressed support for federal aid for our industry, this was the most forceful and direct advocacy he’s offered for us. We welcome his voice and will continue to fight to get Congress to put their money where their mouth is.
