New Dates Announced for the Syracuse & Buffalo Hearings on Tipped Wage

The NYS Department of Labor has announced the new dates for the Syracuse and Buffalo public hearings on the proposal to eliminate the tip credit. The Syracuse hearing will be held on Monday, April 30th and the Buffalo hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 8th.

More information on the hearings as well as instructions on how to register to attend or speak at the hearings can be found on the Department of Labor website at  https://www.labor.ny.gov/workerprotection/laborstandards/subminimumwage.shtm. Please register to attend or speak at these hearings – only by showing overwhelming opposition to this idea can we stop the Labor Department from eliminating the tip credit.
