Indoor Dining Restrictions On The Horizon

Governor Cuomo announced updates to his “Winter Plan” for controlling the spread of the virus. The Governor explained that the plan will provide that if after five days the regional hospitalization rate has not stabilized, indoor dining in New York City will be closed and reduced from 50% to 25% capacity in the rest of the State. The restrictions in place for restaurants currently in an orange or red zone are unchanged. The new restrictions could be in place as soon as Monday, December 14th. This policy is based on the recent additional guidance for indoor dining published by the CDC.
