Third Phase of Minimum Wage Increase Effective January 1, 2007

The third and final phase of the state minimum wage increase enacted two years ago takes effect on January 1^st. The minimum wage will be raised to $7.15 per hour. The cash wage for tipped employees will be raised to $4.60 per hour. Remember that employees must make at least $7.15 per hour when their cash wages and tips are combined.
